![]() My debate question to continue from the NOD issue is do you think the fact that the DAV takes money from Saudi Arabian oil as stated by the CIA operative Bob Baer in his discussion with Reader's Digest this past month is a conflict of interest? Also they are housed in the VA offices throughout the country and we are frequently encouraged to use them with resulting administrative delays..for veterans. What is your experience? Are they too political to benefit us?

From what I have been able to gather, the DAV and other Service Orgs. get free rent and utilities from the VA at ROs? If this is true, I would like to see it explained how these organizations are veteran-claimant oriented first, and not beholding to the VA? Also, if the DAV does take money from Saudi factions (?), what do these Saudi factions get in return, or is the Saudis doing this out of the kindness of their hearts? Also, I will look up that Readers Digest piece you mentioned, it could be very interesting - thanks! "Anybody got any answers?" VERITAS
