Exclamation Petition: To Ross Perot

August 30, 2003

Ross Perot
Texas, USA

Dear Mr. Perot,

We are writing today asking for your help once more, which you have given us generously in the past at key moments, and for which you know of our deep gratitude.

American veterans are in dire need of national Legislative and Executive Branch assistance in order to have the promise of our benefits expedited, fully funded and guaranteed in perpetuity. Those who are on active duty today will return to their homes and families expecting the same. For 216 years we have been unsuccessful, by every means thusfar tried, to have our benefits realized to the fullest.

We ask that you consider, over the course of a full year, placing once weekly large display advertisements in newspapers of your choice using words of your choice, and designed as you see fit, calling upon the american people and government to rectify this matter immediately, which we are certain it is within their power to do.

We are unable to accomplish this mission alone, and have added hereafter our names beseeching you for aid.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
American Veterans and friends

Post I wouldn't vote for Perot!!!!

He gave us Clinton!

Perot split the conservative vote last time and look what happened!

Perot can just stay out of the race as far as I'm concerned.

Guys Guys Guys!

We NEED his help to run ads. Just a thought, a trial balloon, an attempt, a proposal, something for consideration, a concept, better than what we got, a move in the right direction, something being better than nothing, might work, etc.

Larry -
Yo, it FINALLY rained today in Tulsa today! My kinda weather...

Default NO-NO-NO...BLUEHAWK.

Keith almost got it right regarding Clinton and his "Uncle" and benefactor Perot. Perot gifted: "Old Slick" The Presidency TWICE!!! In fact, if the taker of Conservative Votes had stayed in Show-biz for another 4 years,...there should be no doubt whatsoever that Gore would now be The President instead.

Regardless, and fortunately for America, Perot chose to stay out of Show-biz, which is just as well since he can't even play a sax like his deviant and perverted nephew Clinton could. Though, and in fairness to Clinton,...being musically talented is better than having no other worthwhile and meaningful talents (honesty and integrity also) AT ALL. Don't you think?

Well crap...

That went over like a lead balloon, sorry guys. My guess is Little Sparrow, Scout, Scamp, Boats, Reeb, Grasshopper, Beau, Razz, Pho, DMZ LT, not to leave anybody out... will feel pretty much the same as you guys (if not considerably stronger).

This is a democracy and the hawk's been outvoted. I hereby accept my ignominious defeat, and will seek another way to accomplish something similar.

> Anybody got a suggestion for the name of a patron who might be better?
- Bill Gates?
- Donald Trump?
- Ted Turner?
- Leona Helmsley?
- Rockefellers?
- Kennedys?
- Fords?
- ??????????????? (insert names)

A half page display ad in most major Sunday (gotta be Sunday) newspapers starts at roughly $15,000 per. We need this, in various major cities of America (Denver, Indianapolis, New York, Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Salt Lake, Dallas/Houston, New Orleans, DC, Miami, Boston, Richmond, Honolulu, Madison, Providence, Casper, Las Vegas, Cleveland, places like that), 52 times in one year, so that comes to about $780,000 plus a one-time design and composition fee for the ad itself, and some money to pay an administrator (I'll do it for free or contribute the total payment to The Wall maintenance fund) to schedule 52 ad insertions. All else we'd need is a "fiscal agent" willing to accept the funds from the donor for tax purposes.

> A $million firm would do it. < But, would the ad work as intended.

- Better ideas?

Default BLUEHAWK...

Don't take it so bad. Hell,...if this country could survive The Pervert-In-Chief Clinton, I don't think that whomever becomes the next President REALLY matters that much for the general public. For The U.S. Military,...it's a whole different story, since Clinton's giving UN Command over American Forces and thus helping perpetrate The Somalia Tragedy comes to mind.

Still, and speaking of The Military, such made me notice an important and well liked political candidate that you missed. She being that military champion and Veterans' favorite of all time,...Jane Fonda Yeah sure,...and I'm The Tooth Fairy.

Come-on BLUE. Let's touch all bases. America always needs the best politicos and/or connivers available as rulers. And besides, Jane and Bill apparently are from the same page. THEY BOTH bitterly despized THE AMERICAN Military and BOTH stated so overseas to our enemies. So,..."Birds of a feather..." and all that jazz.

Guys -

This post is about vets... not presidents; would-be, former, current or otherwise.

Ross Perot has stood with the families of POW/MIA in this country andI have nothing but good thoughts about him.

I personally feel that what is ever done regard getting the attention of the public has to be done by Veterans for Veterans speaking with one voice for their brothers.

Just my thoughts..
