Reeb,
I had my web browser hi jacked at one point and was getting a lot of pop ups. It was a long process that I went through tofix itthat is to long to go into here. I'll tell you whatshould work for you though is to go to google.com and install their tool bar. It will get rid of the popups that you do not want but allow you to use a function that permits site popups so you can use the smilies. I recommend only using site popups allowed on your trusted sites. Hope this helps... Arrow>>>>> www.toolbar.google.com

I had the same thing happen only once about three weeks ago. Hasn't happened since. I couldnt figure it out since this is the FIRST :-) site I go to when I log on.
