Terrotrist have went to far, In Russa terrorist have captured some kids in a school, threatening to blow up the school unless the Russan govenment releases there terrorist friends from prison.

I say release the prisoners give them safe passage to where ever they want to go, when the kids are safe--- unleash the Red army against where ever the terrorist went, Get the media out and leave a wast land behind. Go back to Russa, end of story.

You want to get a bunch of people really pissed at you, mess with there kids.

One more example of Muslims vs.........everybody. A little hard to peddle their song and dance about Islam being a religion based on love and respect of everyone when you have these sub-humans either blowing up, or threatening to blow up, everyone that disagrees with them. I know I don't buy into it. I think the Islamic terrorists everywhere ARE representative of the majority of them.

The last major go around the Russians had with the Islamic terrorists was the Moscow theater situation just a while back. At that time, the authorities didn?t have a military or paramilitary organization that was trained and equipped for a hostage standoff of that magnitude and inevitably the crisis was ended by brute force that was somewhat reminiscent of the FBI actions in Waco. Presumably, the Russians have covered that particular deficit now and have a better rescue plan and organization, but who knows. I?m not optimistic of a bloodless conclusion regardless of what the Russian authorities do or don?t do.

I think it realistic to ask the question, ?What would we do?? No doubt there are Islamic terrorist cells right here and right now that could and would grab a school full of kids, bomb-up, then serve up some object lessons and make some demands. As we approach the anniversary of 9/11 and the now increasing menace of hostage taking/demand making, I don?t think we can rule out that possibility and I?m not at all optimistic that we could handle it any better then the Russians. I know the US Army has anti-terrorist/ hostage rescue teams and many police organizations have very specific training, but still, how are bombed-up suicidal Islamic maniacs taken care of especially when there are large numbers of hostages. I?m not sure there are any good answers and I think we would be very imprudent to think that the US is immune to attacks and situations of the exact same nature, maybe sooner than we think, eh.

Have you ever seen the way Russian law enforcement officers deal with suspects? Initially they use boots and clubs just to get their attention, then they get brutal! If the civilized governments of the world want to get rid of terrorists, hire a bunch of Russian mercs and let slip the dogs of war. Give 'em a blank check on terrorists elimination.

My heart does go out to those Russian victims but with almost anything there could be an up-side. The Russians seem to be getting nailed by the Muslim terrorist again and again. The long term war they have been fighting, the taking of the movie house, suicide bombings, two planes blown up in flight, now this messing with a school full of kids.

Could it be just a matter of time before Putan and Bush get together and agree to get serious? If the US and Russia ever get in lock step to get rid of the Muslim extremest there will be hell to pay.

Years ago, I saw an Arm Training film that showed the effects of a certain no-lethal, no-lasting-side-effects type of gas, when demonstrated by a well-trained senior NCO. After exposure to this agent, the NCO was asked to perform a very simple task, such as delivering a written message from Desk A to Desk B, less than 100' away. First he dropped the message, couldn't get his stuff together enuf to pick it up, and despite repeated oral commands to deliver the message, wandered around aimlessly.

If some of this stuff still exists, it should be shipped post haste to Russia, and sprayed into the school. After the school children, teachers and other hostages are rescued, round up the terrorists, take them outside, and use the Barnes Tried and True Permanent Methodology of Terrorist Eradication: pigshit covered bullets for all the terrorists, with their lifeless corpses stuffed inside pig carcasses.

Putin, BTW Andy, has been given several invitations by GWB to get serious with terrorists, and this time, he just might take the President up on his offer.
