Default Call from Pup #2

In yet another Thanksgiving blessing, we got a telephone call from our son in Baghdad this morning! We and his platoon had already had a great Thanksgiving dinner, and the order of the day is that all his men were to call their Mommas today! For the first time in weeks, his entire platoon, the UAV guys, were together under one roof at one time. He's in great spirits, reflecting the morale of his troops, and the attitude there in general, as he reported. After dinner, they had another mission - just pressing on, warriors one and all.

Thumbs up

SuperScout: Glad to hear your son is doing well! I seen FOX news today that our soldiers an Sailors were having the traditional Square Turkey, I hadn't seen one of those in Four years. They still taste like turkey but It's just not the Turkey carved off the bird tasteing. But, I was glad to see all of them enjoying themselves on this day of Thanksgiving and if the insurgents settle down and let them vote in January maybe they will all get to leave a little sooner. God bless them all

A fitting surprise for you and your family on this day, Brice. I hope the rest of your day continued on that plane. I'm proud of your boy and those like him in the way they're conducting themselves doing this dificult job assigned to them.

May God continue to watch over him.

Tom it's so great that he was able to call you for the holiday and you share it with us so we can all give thanks. Hope he's home soon. It's been pretty ugly for the troops lately but election day just might shut up rag-heads opposition to freedom. Thank your son for us. We're proud of him too.

Superscout - I'm glad your Son is doing well. I'm also glad they got some Turkey. We all remember our holidays away from home and Uncle Sam tries hard to give us those holiday foods.

Our prayers go out to your Son and all the troops everywhere who are away from their families over the holidays.

The kids are always in our thoughts.

My Mother cried when I told her I had volunteered for Viet Nam. Took me two kids and one grandbaby to understand. Don't know if HE listens to my ramblings Brice but I am praying for your son and all our sons and daughters in harms way. Peace in your heart , brother. Scouts Out Sir !!
