Thousands have demonstrated in America against the war in Iraq. Now others are demonstrating for America to go to war elsewhere.
Thousands of demonstrators have gathered in Washington and several other US cities to demand an end to violence in the Sudanese region of Darfur.

Actor George Clooney, who has recently returned from visiting refugee camps in Darfur with his father, called the situation "the first genocide of the 21st century".

Democrat Senator Barack Obama said if Americans acted on Darfur the world would follow.


I tried to post photos of the relevant items, but couldn't manage it.

For the USA to get into another unwanted fight, would be the height of idiocity.

This is a poem written a long time ago by Kipling, which clearly shows the problems of war in the Sudan. It is not PC but who cares?
