Colorado Elk and Mule Deer

Draws are posted on the Colorado DNR site. I got drawn for a Cow Elk and Mule Deer buck only for Oct 29 to Nov 6. Headed for my south Georgia hunting lease in the morning to put in my bow hunting stand and game camera.

I used to live in Idaho Springs, CO and we used to hunt mule deer just over the mountain range from the little city. I recall they shot a large Mule Deer that made the Boone and Crocket ledgers.

We used to go Elk hunting in Steamboat and Rife, CO. For antelope we went to Hanna and Saratoga WY

When things got slow we shot jack rabbits.

I could never ever hunt myself, not against it though so I hope that when the time comes you have allot of fun!

I'd love to have a vacation in Colorado or moslty Wyoming that time of year.
