Default WOW!!!...Talk About Ingrates!!!

WOW!!!...Talk About Ingrates!!!
by N.R. Filidei (7/26/06 - commentary)

Damn,...I've heard about ingrates in my lifetime, and especially American types. Still, Americans rescued from Lebanon having been warned for about 6 YEARS to stay-the-hell out of there lest having heads end-up as quite valued trophies on some Hezbollah Terrorist Mantles,...do truly: "Take The Cake".

Some such ingrates actually intend suing The American Taxpayer (only piggy-bank U.S. Government actually has), for not rescuing them quick or soon enough. WOW! Truly some greedy, even though actually quite fortunate (both ways) nuts,...we're dealing with (actually being threatened by) here.

Some such ingrates will actually turn-a-profit by being rescued TOTALLY at U.S. Taxpayer Expense,...not to in any way demean or diminish the courage, bravery and effort of U.S. Marines & U.S. Navy doing so, from quite some hot spot. Many return passage tickets will no doubt be reimbursed such cavalierly-stupid travelers from their respective carriers, and rightfully so.

Thus, and if any such stupid type travelers have any class whatsoever, they should instead donate any such reimbursements to The Marines': "Toys for Tots" Fund. Hey,...isn't generosity always much classier than greed and ungratefulness, anyway.

So then, and in a realistic, sane and much less greedy context, I would personally suggest that all so rescued line-up to kiss every American Taxpayer's Butt (Marine & Navy inclusive), for rescuing them from exceptionally dangerous and volatile Lebanon,...INSTEAD of attempting stuffing-it-to-US there.

Besides, kissing always seems infinitely much more sensible, proper and courteous an act of combined gratitude rather than: "Stuffing-it-to" or screwing This Taxpayer Infidel,...and any day of the week.

The End

Neil

Neil.
Who is N.R. Filidei?
He has made several good points but I would sugest go further.
Keep them (so called Americans) all in one spot somewhere and soon as its over, Take them all back, even if they don't want to go back, drop them the same place as they were picked up. Sue from Lebanon, American.

If the AFLCIO gets involved it will last a life time in courts as they won't give up until they have proven their point.

Neil I agree anyone going into these hot beds of instability are signing their own death warrants.

The lawsuit claims ?discrimination? and has been filed by an Arab-American activist group. I hope this story doesn?t poof-out before there are some specifics to the allegations. If there was anything hateful or damaging to dredge up, I?m sure the MSM sleuths n? leaches would be all over it by now.

Given the nature of Lebanon, I think it would be nightmarishly complicated to provide security for the evacuees while they are moved to some secure marshalling area and then screened and searched before entering any transport. A huge ball of people; especially alleged Americans, without security barriers and heavily armed security forces would just be too tempting a target for car bombers, etc. and then there would be a major mess.

As is said, haste makes waste and a sloppily made and executed evacuation plan would just be a disaster with the fuse lit and the clock running, tic-tock. In 1983, the Marines in Lebanon were forced into poor/dysfunctional security arrangements that were not of their own making and paid a very dear price. I doubt we?ll see a repeat of that pig?s breakfast set of security provisions forced on the Marines again. If they can get everybody evacuated without some bloody incident, I believe that would qualify as a mid-level miracle and as good as it gets, anywhere.

Neil
The Lady that is heading up the so-called lawsuit for the "Americans" was on Fox and Friends this morning (thursday)
The Judge asked her what was the perpouse of the lawsuit and she said to have a sease fire. The Judge then told he that no Federal Judge is going to tell the president of the United States to tell Israel and Hezbalah to sease fire. She said it was the United States money that is behind israel.
I want to see this lawsuit go through, and a federal judge tell President Bush that he needs to tell Hezbalah and Israel to sease fire. I want to see this. Not that President Bush would do it. But it would sure be funny when it came out of a Federal Judges mouth. There can't be Judges that stupid, Can there?

Default Ron...

RE: "..., can there?"

Wish could reasure you that America didn't
have some truly wacked-out or suspect judges.
But, just cannot,...even if only believing HALF
of what daily seen and heard on TV.

Hell,...even some: "Supremes" don't come-across
as if; "Dealing with full decks",...both honesty-wise & mentally.
