![]() I always here that expression ahh - that's tuff.
I asked years ago and here's one reply I got. What's Tuff A magazine Yea - how much? 15 cents Only got a dime Ya - that's tuff Been thinking about issues lately. Wife is handicapped, both daughter's husbands are laid off, cash flow is difficult to maintain, making house payment for one daughter, and rent for the other and buying them food. Now that tuff. Wife and I have gotten by all our lives on one income. It hasn't been easy. Yet we still find a way to help our own. Why am I stating this. Because I can always find someone else who has it tougher. I accept my predicament and know how hard it is for many in today's economy. Life on this good earth isn't always a bed of roses. So when you reflect on how hard you have it - think real hard and I'm sure you will find many others worse off. I can only be somewhat grateful that the good Lord has giving me some amount of health to keep on working. So take a moment and reflect just how good some of us have it compared to others and that puts things right back into perspective. My thought for the day.

![]() Good post Boats , thanks. Years ago my brother was dying and lived with me , he had no money. I bought him everything. One day we were out on the train and a bum asked Richard for a smoke. Richard looked in his pack and he only had one smoke left. He gave it to the bum. I was so mad I could have slapped him cause I knew I would have to buy him another pack. I raised my voice and asked him how the hell he could give away his last smoke knowing he had no money. He said "That guy didn't want to ask me for a smoke but he had to. That guy could be you someday. What would you want me to do if it was you ? " Richard is gone now but I'll always remember it could be me someday and count my blessings today. Did I tell you I was an Opa ?

![]() That's great DMZ - I also have three grandkids and they sure are a handfull but great fun to have around as they make me laugh. youngster's will keep you - young in spirit.
Your Richard reminds me of my later Brother Larry. He sure had a rotten life (from my aspect not his). I think now how much I could have done for him and now that he's gone all I can do is wish things were different. Yep perspective it really opens your eyes.
