Default Sign Regulations

Each state and county and City have regulations that govern signs, Size, hight, Lighting, content, etc. How about the people that regulate signs give thought to English only on any sign that can be seen from the roadway. Stir, Stir, Stir that pot.

I live in the " international village" section of Atlanta. They had to pass a law that at least the business had to have , in English , the address visible from the street. The Vietnamese video store " My Dung " is just down the street

Cape Cod, Mass. has some pretty restrictive signage laws. Most of them regulate the hight at which a sign may be. Some deal with the color of the sign itself, such as white on gray.
NYC is a friggen mess, signs everywhere and none of them all to helpful. Most of these are the Parking signs.
