What happen to the three days OFF!!!!!
Rigger - did you notice how fast those three days off went! Here I am back at work again and it seems like I was never off - what's that mean? The days and months are blowing by and I can't seem to slow them down. Better start making plans for a plot for the wife and I as I can't tell you where the last 40 years went?
Yep we didn't do much either yard work, grand kids were over - couple corn roast and a little barbacue's. Kid's around keep you in good shape as they are everywhere you don't want them to be and if you turn your back or its too quite you know they are up to no good. Grand-Son is always into everything and looks guilty each time you catch him doin something he knows he shouldn't be doin. Boy's will be Boy's and he's no different. The Service will like this guys he's so hyper I hope they can slow his ass down a tad. Summer's about gone and it looks like fall will be here soon. Much to do and little time to get it all done. What else is new.

Boats,
Can't you think of a better phrase to use than "blowing by"? I spent the labor day week-end putting up hurricane shutters. Had some essential help from my good friend, Mr. Sam Adams! Now I'll be takin' them down, but NOT putting them away yet. Later, this will all be amusing, but right now, I'm entertaining thoughts of leaving this tropical paradise and moving to Nebraska. I had to use some leave to get the holiday off. I would have had duty. My previous plans got can-ex'ed, so I overhauled this damn computer ALL WEEKEND. At least it works again, and so much better, too.
