The Turkey That May Get Away

Is there more than one Turkey (Gobble-Gobble) in the Middle East, or is all of this procrastinating merely part of a ?War of Words, a Time Buying Ploy, or a Misinformation Menagerie," if you prefer?!

With Saddam working toward perfecting ?Weapons of Mass Destruction? (of course he denies this), and many points in the Middle East within range of those ?SCUD MISSILES? that he also denies having, the ?Old Turks? may just be getting cold feet? Or could it be all of this ?Turkish Vacillating Demeanor? was ingeniously designed to confound Hussein into believing that there is no tempest in yon teapot!?

With General Myers on the international prowl, one has to wonder if we (USA) are engaged in yet another ?Invisible Army Gambit?? A move similar to the one that sprung up around ?Patton?s Non-existent Invasion Force? during WWII! Granted, this Coalition force is very visible, but the final game plan is still (and will remain for now) a mystery of sorts!

As you know, back during World War II, Patton (Old Blood & Guts) was (supposedly) gearing up to invade France from England! Instead of ?Inflatable Tanks," however, this time around it just may be yet another ?Trojan Horse!??

So what-da-ya think Saddam - we could be digging a tunnel up from the Gulf at this very moment in order to attack you from below! But then you know all about this ?Below Stuff? don?t you, as they say that only ?Hell and Oil? emanates from that direction! You, however, may soon be making this tip in reverse! (I pity the poor devil!!)

Off course this is not quite true (geologically speaking), as earthquakes too begin deep below the surface, and this ?Righteous Temblor? may not be fault-born at all, but rather, it may emanate directly from the Coalition. ?A Coalition that, if forced to do so, will finally (and totally this time) sweep you away!!?

Ya know Saddam, ?it?s all quite simple when you think about it!? You?ve bled the country (Iraq) dry and probably have more money salted away than King Midas and Ferdinand Marcos put together? And with the Coalition offering you a sweetheart deal, better than we have ever offered to any other mass murderer, maybe you should take it on the lamb like Napoleon did! Your Elba, however, could be some poshly upholstered whorehouse, replete with hot and cold running babes!! (SUCH A DEAL!!)

?The alternative, of course, is far less inviting?, and although President Bush has insisted that an invasion of Iraq is not imminent, should you fail to honor UN Resolution 1441, you may be betting your life upon your next move?

Now, as for a few of our wishy-washy friends in your region, I keep hearing them professing their love and concern for their neighbors within the Middle East? Yet when their chance comes to help secure the safety and freedom of their fellow ?Oil Barons?, a few of them seem somewhat hesitant - ?WHY?? I realize that ?Oil Is Thicker Than Water and Blood, but is not Honor and Freedom Thicker Than Both??

Sometimes a punch-out (brawl) is not determined with but a single blow, as many a foe rises again to take up where he left off! And granted, mistakes were made in 1991, but this opponent (Iraq) is rabid. It will bite at your loins again and again, if given the chance to do so! ?Also, one does not dismiss his protectors when a determined enemy is still close at hand!?

I feel that we may soon discover if there is more than one game bird skulking about in some Middle Eastern Turkey Farm?! But beware my finely feathered friends, as - ?any turkey that willingly leaves itself exposed to a neighboring vulture, is a bird that soon may dwell within it?s very own oven of despair??

Bottom line - ?Don?t Look A Gift Horse In The Mouth?, for as it was in Troy, so could (?) it be in the Middle East, and Saddam Hussein may just be building that wooden horse as we speak? Unlike Troy, however, this hollow equine may not be filled with soldiers, but rather, it may (like Pandora?s Box), be stuffed with ?Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction!??
