Now THAT looks like fun! We once used an 18th century trench mortar to shoot off corncobs. We got one so perfectly packed that we sent it over a treeline and onto Route 20 in Sudbury, MA. The screech of brakes sent us packing like a bunch of scared kids. Fortunately we didn't do any damage but it sure scared the hell out of someone!

Thats why we let Curtis on the mtn. His job is to make sure the cannon is loaded correctly, keeping an eye on the barrel until the last moment of detonation. Eyebrows are a little singed, and the hair is parted down the middle but at least he's still alive

The thumbholes in the ball make quite a sound. The second shot I thought the guy was gonna get the shock wave right in his ear. Might want to secure it a bit better too. A back fire might chase them around the desert for a while.

Steve, put a slicer in the muzzle of the mountain cannon and use the results for french fries.
