As of this point, and with the information on hand, the media is reporting the capture of at least 5 American GIs, and possibly the execution deaths of 4 more, at the hands of Iraqi Filth!

If it is true that the Iraqis are parading American POWs on their second-rate TV network (al Jazeera), then those ?Bastards in Iraqi Journalism? are blatantly violating the letter and law contained within the Geneva Convention (Article 13)! But this, of course, should come as no surprise when dealing with anyone even remotely connected with Hussein, ?The Yellow Beast of Baghdad!? If he is not dead yet - HE SOON WILL BE!!!!!!

It was also speculated that the capture and butchering of these lightly armed American repair technicians, may have been undertaken by Iraqi forces who had previously surrendered, meaning that this act of infamy was even more vile, and completely in keeping with Hussein?s way of doing business - ?LOW, UNDERHANDED, DISHONORABLE, COWARDLY and CONTEMPTIBLE!!?

Apparently, these ?Damned Iraqi Fools? think that we are kidding as concerns ?WAR CRIME TRIALS, if that is, they make it to trial???

Addendum - The people, if you can call them that, who perpetrated this blood bath, remind me of the "Nazi Machine-gunners" who butchered unarmed, captured American Forces during the Battle Of The Bulge! And there is no lower form of life than this (opinion)!!

Still, that The French, Germans, Russians, other nations also, protesters, some of America's Hollywood and Beltway Crowds would prefer chit-chatting diplomatically into infinity with such a murderously-dictatorial regime rather than destroying same,...does get even more mindboggling as time goes on.

Do all those alluded to actually hate The Iraqi People and The Bush Administration so much,...that "They" would prefer Iraqis be tyranically-murdered by by Sadam The Sicko forever, and now even American Soldiers be executed by cowards, rather than just having The Iraqi People freed and/or liberated???

Hell, I don't know about the other nations. But, and from what I can remember, I don't recall The French being too overly distressed when We liberated "Them" from The Nazis. Guess "They" just don't know how to accept help graciously or very well?

I don't think we know yet. Executions? I hadn't heard that. Is there proof of this? I do know that I have seen more than one US picture of Iraqi POW's on both CNN and in this mornings paper. Are there 2 sets of Geneva Conventions? One for us and one for everybody else. During my own Geneva Convention training in the Army, I don't recall anything about photo's.

During my time in the sun, or was it a dark shadow, there were plenty of atrocities committed by the enemy against both civilians and soldiers. There was also a vice-versa wherein I witnessed atrocities against the enemy being committed by US and other friendly forcees. In spite of this, it was a matter of continuing the march march. Hatred only interfered with the accomplishment of the mission, which took precedence over all else.

I am also seeing a lot of outrage against the Iraqi's. This is war. I guess it is necessary to hate the enemy, although I don't. They are to be fought and beaten. It is Hussein and his regime that are evil, not the Iraqi people, soldiers included.

I totally support our US troops. I don't support rush to judgements.

I don't want to be rude but if you witnessed atrocities against the enemy in Vietnam by US and other friendly forces wasn't it your responsibilty to report these atrocities and/or try to stop them from happening? And if you did not wouldn't you be as much apart of the atrocities that went on as the people that committed them?

Reuters, BBC and Fox news reports the dead Americans shown on Iraqi tv ALL had bullet holes in the forehead. I would say that is completely against the Geneva Convention?

Nice thread title HARDCORE but I think our boys will do them one better. I don't know how much has changed in the armed forces since I was in but probably not much and if our troops are anything like we were there will be no burying. There will only be blasted and bloated bodies strewn across the desert for the dogs to eat.
