The War After The War?

Just 90 miles up the road from Baghdad, Tikrit still looms as an unknown? Some say that it will be the scene of bloody battle, while other say it will just fold it?s hand?

To add some intrigue to this pending brew, one of Iraq?s top scientific generals (Amer Hammoudi al-Saadi) has himself decided to call it a day. This general, however, is still insisting that there are no ?Weapons Of Mass Destruction? in Iraq? ?Is this good news, a ball-faced lie, or is it a harbinger of the ominous perhaps?!?

We all know that Saddam Hussein was romancing the deadly CBR genie, but how far did he get? I personally believe that Iraq ?IS? in possession of chemical, biological and even crude nuclear elements, and that only fear and better sense kept Hussein from deploying them in the Gulf!

Only a damned fool would not believe that had Hussein resorted to these weapons, Iraq would now be but a smoldering footnote in Middle Eastern history books, as will any despot who attempts a like move!

So if Saddam did have such an arsenal, where in the hell is it now - buried inside Syria perhaps (Could Be)? And as for that captured Iraqi General, Hammoudi Amer al-Saadi (Hussein?s top Scientific Adviser), what choice but surrender did he have?

By surrendering, this General at least stands a chance of survival (no doubt deals were cut)!! Whereas, had he not capitulated, this turd would have most assuredly faced a war crimes tribunal and a rope! ?Hell, he still may if he don?t come clean, and damned fast!?

Out of all this intrigue, and more, one thing struck me as genuinely pathetic! A well-known mega billionaire, and his corporate left tit, appeared on the tube recently, and at least one of them openly championed the need to deal with world dictators!

"All dictators", this gent implied, "are not working on weapons of mass destruction! And as such, they should be considered fair business gain!"

Hell, this war ain't even over, and already some in power are actively seeking out ways to capitalize on the blood and sacrifices of our kids in uniform!? "Just how much fame, power and fortune is enough to some creatures?"

Ya know, I was wondering just how long it would take before a few in ?Big Money & Big Politics? slithered back into the game and attempted to turn an essential military action into just another business opportunity? Or before just enough spin was applied to the ball to allow some to whitewash their consciences into again doing business with the World?s Worse? Or before a few began to nit-pick the hell out of some other politico, who?s job they relished?

Hell, prior to this current military action in the Gulf, many believed that the "Vietnam Era Drippies" (Protesters) were a thing of the past? Well the LSD may not be as prevalent these days as it was in the 60s, and a few in power may not be as overt in their immoral experimentation against the unwitting as they were back then, but some attacks against our nation (via the back door) are still flourishing in some quarters, especially the media ans entertainment industries! (opinion)

Now this is not to say that lysergic acid diethlamide (LSD) was the only narcotic of choice to many who found a way to enjoy medical research freedom, power, and big bucks all at then same time! And this they did, through illegal or questionable-medical research projects at that!

Now, however, a few of the more affluent members of society, even in Jollywood and Media-land, seek to attack our nation with foul and damaging rhetoric!

Freedom of speech and opinion is a good, needed, and creative thing, when utilized by those seeking truth, wisdom and fair play! But when the only motive of a few, no matter how lofty their station, is to damage or muffle opposing opinion, or to personally (and solely) capitalize on spin, then the intent of our Founding Fathers suffers indeed!

Somebody had better tell a few of these actors, news hawks, and lemming activists, that their incessant use of a cocktail consisting of equal parts of "Alcohol, Preparation H and Ex lax?, will not expand their mental powers at all? It will merely prove what most of us already suspect, in that some of these actor/activists are genuinely full of shit! (opinion)
