The Politics Of Purgatory

It seems that the smoldering fires of political purgatory are melding themselves with Dark Age Politics, the closer we come to election day 2004!?

Not only has a "US Military Chaplain" been detained at Gitmo (Guantanamo Bay) under suspicion, but indeed, that thin green $$ line between war and politics is becoming ever more blurred as time and tide marches on!

The politi-military eyesight of DC these days, is beginning to look like that of Mr. Magoo (Blind As A Cave Bat), and in the process -"Inter-Party Political Rhetoric" has gone from testy to downright nasty! ?But a single case in point being - "The Charges and Counter-Charges" that are now getting tossed back and forth between Senator Kennedy and President Bush, among others!?

The Democratic side of the aisle is accusing the Republicans (and in particular the President) of creating the recent ?War With Iraq?, right there on the ?Old South 40? of the ?Bush Texas White House!? And charges are also being made (and rebutted) that we are acquiring, what is being termed as, ?Co-Operation By Bribery? - Turkey (and others) being prime examples!?

?This is just what we need, right??? With Iran and Korea messing around with nukes, in the name of peaceful usage (they claim?), and 19 more people injured (2 dead) in the latest terrorist attack against the UN (this time again in Iraq), what we need now is a "Dis-United Front Against Our International Enemies, and/or part-time friends if you prefer?! (In some cases, not much difference here I fear!!)

One of these days (I hope soon), the two major political factions in our nation are going to learn that ?Patriotism and Survival Are Far More Important Than Politics and Abusive Power!? We were, after all, all Americans before we de-evolved into a gaggle of confused political animals! And in a world that is hastily developing new and bloodier ways to attack our interests and our people, some in politics, still seem intent on sinking their teeth deeper into the "Tasty $$ Pie of State", decreasing the morale of the military through painful cuts, slicing into the flesh of our aging veterans with cleverly contrived bull shit, and worrying more about "Who Gets To Play King", than who survives economically or on the battlefield!!

How do we know that this is all true, you ask - "Because The Sage-Like Media Tells Us That This Is All True", and they would never lie to us, or herd us around like a nation of mindless sheep, ?WOULD THEY?!? (BAAAH!!)
