Years ago (1995), I wrote and copyrighted novel entitled "Civilution (unpublished). In effect, almost a decade ago, I warned of super agencies (as did Orwell - 1984). Agencies of absolute power that weaken the soverenty of our nation and vastly multiply the unaccountability of the expanding powers that be! This dangerous move into a darkness of regression, would, in my opinion, weaken the inalienable rights of the people themselves! Indeed, harsh times do require harsh measures, but those (so-called) measures must never butcher the balance of power or the intent of the Founders! Does anyone really believe that any vast power structure can be satiated by giving up but a single right - tell that to Chamberlain and England (circa - 1939). Now that we are the lone super power, are we destined to become that which we have fought against for 229 years? No one can dispute that these are dangerous times, but a liberty, right, and mandate surrendered, often becomes a liberty, right and mandate forever lost!! VERITAS
