Default Happy Birthday M14 Rifle!

On this date in 1957 the M14 rifle was adopted as the "A" Standard shoulder arm for the U.S. Armed Forces.

The M14 replaced the cal .30 M1 Garand rifle.

The M-14 is younger than most of us! Great weapon....actually just a "squirrel gun" to Hal!

Default M-14

In Basic we had to take that thing apart and put it back togeather blindflolded, Under 30 sec. Shot expert with it.
I was amazed that it was accurate out to the 600 meter targets on the range. Kicked to hard and weighed a little to much for me. Although, it did work all the time, every time.
