From the "Best of times" to ???
Does anyone out there remember what Henry Ford II said in an interview back as far as I can remember in the 60"s. When asked what he saw as our roll in the future, he said if we(USA) don't wake up we will cease being a supplier nation and become a user nation. The only trouble with that is if we do end up buying everything every other country makes; Where will we get the money to buy all this trash, if we don't have the jobs anymore. If someone can explain that to me, I'm all ears.
I have to admit; I was a part of the problem. In my 43 years of servicing office, restaurant, and banking machines outside the unions, I rode their coat-tails and greatfully accepted all the spill-over perks joyfully. Now we are ALL going to have to pay the piper. And the piper lives outside our borders. chucktoo
