Marine Helicopters
Those big ugly, slow things that the Marines used.
I was standing on the LZ edge (baldy) looking toward DaNang. These 2 Marine helicopters took off headed for DaNang. Just a little ways off Baldy they get fired upon by some kind of rocket. The Rocket went between the chopers that were flying one in front of each other. The back one did something I didn't think those big uglys could do, The pilot turned that thing on its side, 90 degree right turn. Neather were hit, and they proceeded to DaNang, where the rear crew made a clothing change , I would guess. Ron
