Housing Market

This morning on the TV, I was watching this TV host and a guest, The Guest was a "Housing Market specialist" The Guest was in her late twenties, The host started the segment with,
Im in the market for a house, Should I buy now while the market is in somewhat of a slump, or wait till winter when experts said there will be a real slump or ,like my husband thinks, wait till next year, because the market is going lower even more?
The guest started to answer the questions with, NO. At that point I turned the channel.
1st off, what does a twenty something girl know about the housing market? And then to answer 3-4 questions with NO, just shows the amout of epertise she has in the market.
