Dangerous Times Indeed!

?Once upon a time, our enemies, although vicious, were at least limited!?

Granted, we had our foes, but never to my knowledge, has an entire region displayed so much hatred, not only toward us but indeed, toward their own people as is being displayed in today?s world!

Once upon a time, many of today?s enemies were friendly toward our nation. With an olive branch in one hand and the other hand outstretched looking for financial aid, these two-faced cretins, grinned from ear to ear, all the time inserting their hand into our back (wallet) pocket. ?Yes indeed, we had the best friends that money could buy!?

Have no illusions about it, however, our true friends (and we have a few) have been with us through thick and thin. However, far too many a sardonic back-stabber has been in it for what they could bleed out of us! Their dreams of unseating us has always been there, be it hidden just below the surface. Their thoughts of world empire oozing out of their greasy pores, these wanna-be ?Emperors Of The World? slobber over the very thought of absolute power. Alliances these days are often made as a convenience of the moment, and little more. The problem is that we know this and do nothing about it!

All of the advanced weaponry in the world, all of the manpower and muscle is nothing more than warmed over mucus, if the world is convinced that we lack the will to employ same!

Now I am not touting blowing the world to ashes, but what (do you suppose) would have happened had we opted not to employ the A-Bomb back in ?45, or if we would have looked the other was on December 7, 1941 - ?WOULD WE STILL EXIST AS A NATION??

In today?s society, there are yet those who want to blow us to Hell. There are others, however, who seek to (as Joe McCarthy claimed), take us over from within. I am sure that you need no clues in figuring out for yourself who they are? The problem is that even our ?Powers That Be? know their identities better than we do, but insist on digesting their never-ending excrement through this thing that they laughingly refer to as diplomacy!
