Living my Life Without Fear
Living my life without fear; that is what the flag of the United States means to me. It means that I can live my life the way I want to. It represents freedom, courage, and hope. It is the symbol of justice, righteousness, and loyalty. It is the symbol of democracy, speaking out, and strength in a nation. It is decorated with the fifty states as its stars, and the thirteen original colonies as its stripes. It lets me know that people are standing over me and protecting me. It is everywhere, and some of those places make it special. On the fourth of July, it is a reminder of the people who fought and gave us our freedom. In funerals, it is a sign of respect. It is a sign of our patriotism, our loyalty to our country. It helps in the identification of our country, and lets everyone know who we are and about our rights.
