![]() Gee,
Mr Macho man with his full auto, bipod, scoped weapon and 20 clips to boot walking point? Something tells me ol dino/troopervet is full of shit. In article <01be120b$08a7afa0$3225400c@default>, "Ken says... > >Hey guy's, > > I would just like to know how many clips you carries with you for your >M-16's >when you were on a patrol or "in the bush". >Thanks for your time >ken For me - around 20. More if I could handle the weight. Unfortunately, when we got word that we were going back to be picked up, many would throw about half their ammo away to reduce their load. In one instance that I am aware of, this had disasterous results. troopervet@yahoo.com |

If 20 magazines for an M-16 would be a load, how could an admitted ammo dumper carry 20 magazines for an M-14? Does the 'DIPSHIT' mean you have regressed from Stage 4 to Stage 3? -- Dave (The Other) |

You think he might have meant full auto stirring stick with all that tracer round shit? He clearly can't seem to distinquish between an M-16 and an M-14. He didn't seem to know what C-4 was used for either. He thought it was just for cooking, just like in the movies. He certainly doesn't know when to quit spinning his shit. One would have thought he would have learned by now, what with all the practice he's had. |

![]() The magazines don't carry the same amount of ammo.. Qualified with both
weapons many, many moons ago, M-14 mag was 10 round I think, and M-16 was more than that. Not 100% sure of all this as I tend to forget where I live nowadays..
