JYDs (Junk Yard Dogs)
Now they?ve gone and done it.
Many of you here know that infantry divisions protected important areas in Vietnam during those conflict (politically correct) years. In QuiNhon we had the ROK troops. Post number eight at the airfield was on the end of the perimeter that had the crematory. In the morning you could see the ROK troops out by their dump sticking fleeing rats with bayonets so they might have meat for dinner I guess. The Korean troops also would spend a good part of their day kicking and hitting each other and wood post they had stuck in the ground. This was TyKwonDo karate and a ROK troop couldn?t leave VN unless and until he had a black belt. I used to love getting assigned to tower number eight. One thing the Koreans were known for is their HATRED of their enemy and especially if that enemy was communist. You just didn?t mess with armed Koreans.
Now the Iraqi terrorist have taken and beheaded a Korean. Those terrorist don?t know what terror yet but unless things have really changed over the years, they are about to find out. They'll be the recievers.
