Lucky John, Lucky Jane
From my readings in case law and other reasoned sources, it appears that legal scholars and other learned souls agree that a charge of treason, as defined in the U.S. Constitution, can only be brought against perps during a period of declared war. For those without sources to the word about what defines 'treason,' kindly allow me to quote from the "Random House Dictionary of the English Language": " ... b. U.S. such a violation directed against the United States, and consisting 'only in levying war against them or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.' Not surprisingly, the U. S. Constitution cites the exact same words in Article III, Section 3, adding " ... No person shall be covicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."
As we are all painfully aware, John F. Kerry, aka Teddy Jane Kerry, and Jane Fonda, aka the Red Bitch, both committed acts that under a declared war condition, could be construed and interpreted as treasonous. To date, Kerry has not recanted his previous efforts to give aid and comfort to the enemy. And yet this is the cretin that liberals, the misguided, the uninformed, or some others want elected to the highest office in our land. A man who committed treasonous acts against his fellow warriors? Under the rules of a declared war, they both would have been executed, and rightfully so. So now, they'e lucky, and America is the worse because of them.
