John McCain selects Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for running mate

She's pretty, young, and a Republican. If elected she'd be the first VIP who's a woman. I think she was chosen to lure away the female vote. An old geezer and a young cutie. Very interesting to say the least.

She is better looking the Biden. And if elected she will be groomed to run against that old Hag hillary. As president McCain passes on from cancer and old age she will be the incumbent in the next election sort of the roosevelt and truman.

McCain has to understand that if his health let's out - she will be the Commander and Chief I hope she can make those hard decisions? Don't know her but I'm sure the media will let us all know much about her. Regardless McCain is getting my vote - can only hope for the best.

When this was first announced on the local FOX station, a news reader felt it necessary to immediately announce that she was being investigated for firing a man.

The attack was based on her firing him for not firing her brother-in-law who is in the middle of a nasty divorce from her sister.

He said that he pays attention to the news in Alaska. He did not say anything about her brother-in-law being accused of physical abuse incluing using a taser on him own child. That kind of attack leaves evidence.

She says that she wants an investigation of her actions.

Absolutely! As the ultimate "outsider," she will help bring needed change to the 'good ol' boy' network of porkbarrel/ear marks that has becme a cancer on our nation. Remember, she rejected the funds for the bridge to nowhere that some stupid GOP tried to pass. Her attitude about wasteful spending is in line with John McCain's: cut it out.

I can't believ that Repuglicans really think theyre going to pick up Hilary voters with this choice---do they think there's no other issues?

The repugs want to nail Obama for inexperience and they pick a woman who two years ago was only the mayor of a city of 30,000? Who's being investiated now for misuse of office?

Alaska is chock full of Repuglican scandals and we're going to be hearing a lot more about it in the very near future, count on it!
