Default Democrats have introduced legislation

That gives a date for pullout in Iraq. Also a time line that says Irag military has to meat expectation by a date.

These are so wrong.

A new Col. In the Iraq Army has to have leeway in controlling his officers to get a BN to a disciplined fighting force, If this gets to the presidents desk and is signed. The Iraq Col would just give up cause there is no way a deadline can be met for training a BN to American standards.

If I was Bush, I'd sign the thing when it got to my desk and then explain to the American public, just what the Democrats have brought to the table and what is about to happen and lastly, I would point out to the American public just who to blame when the Whole area over there collapses and millions die, and then the Islamic extremist make a visit to the United States or it's friend.
I'd give the Democrats what they wont, But, Then hold them accountable.

Ron

As I remember the "cease fires" accross the pond all was quiet for a while and then the sh..- hit the fan. Vietnamese NewYear Cease Fire 1968 aka Tet.
Announce to the gooks that you're leaving and the tanks with Red Stars roll into Saigon as you try to close the door quietly behind you.
When the troops get home they're told that they "lost the war."
Is it thatthe American politiciandidn't have enough balls to win it or wouldn't allow us to so they could get another vote?

Sadly, we are being asked to walk down the same road again, one not paved with good intentions, but one filled with the potholes of failure, backbiting, and poisonous recriminations. We won the war militarily in South Vietnam, and the victory was given way be such naysayers as Walter Cronkite and his band of illegitimate brothers in the press.

Fortunately, we have a president now who has the courage of his convictions, not some gutless wonder that we were saddled with in the 60's. Any "pull-out/bug-out" legislation will be vetoed. Period. And this will be the 'gift that keeps on giving' come the election of 2008.

F-Um I'd pull out with a note from the democrat party. Then I would print that note every day, along with a Seee-Told ya so, Democrats are to blame, Democrats are to blame. I would kind of enjoy the cluster that would come after the pull out and also the way the Dems would try to say they didn't want a pull out.
Pull Out, Pull Out, Pull Out. Come on Dems sing along.
