Default If you don't make any mistakes, You ain't workin'

Anybody know anybody that doesn't make mistakes?

If someone out there knows someone of this caliber, please refer to HIM/HER, HER/HIM in a reply post below.

If no-one knows such a person, can someone leave a few posts on how to better get in touch and make accountable some people in POWER?

Thanks.

Regards,
Travis :cd:

Question

TRAV -

Accountability and power are like fire and water, night and day,
heaven and hell - and never the two shall meet, at least not in politics! (opinion) :cd:

Unhappy Hardcore;

In a way I was sort of pointing a finger at myself for maybe being too straight forward in some of my replies.

In your reply the 1st thing I thought of was when I was a kid in school back in the 50's and seeing those two parallel lines going on and on out into infinity and never the twain shall meet.

Who knows what would happen if those 2 lines went through a black hole or maybe were really gaining momentum as the lines entered an immovable CONE.

Just a thought.

Thanks for the reply and it made sense. What makes sense today my be water under the bridge tomorrow.

Regards,
Travis :re:

Travis,

I, for one, can safely say that I have always been correct and have never made an error. I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong! ;-)

Doc;
You and PHO127 are exceptions. Like the guy who's first mistake was jumping off the GG Bridge. His second was going down the stack of a Destroyer.

Travis

I can't believe that little kid I knew is now a SFC ! Course last time I saw him I knew I would not want to get in a fight with him even if I was sneaking up behind him with a 2x4

PHO127;
Damn. If those mines cost $10.00 a piece you'd have a fortune there. Why can't you put all of them in a cargo plane and slide them out the back and give them back to the people that made them? The fireworks would make a carpet bomb look like a firecracker.

Regards,
Travis

Talking I only made one misteake

While in Artillery OCS, one of our Marine gunnery instructors, after making an error in the FDC checking our work announced that it was only the second mistake he had ever made. I remarked that joining the Marines was the first. In order that my enthusiasm for the Army be curbed he made me dig defensive MG positions around the emplaced battery position for the rest of the exercise. God bless Cpt Wesley T. Youngblood and the USMC.
