Default Mexicans are takeing over

The radio station I have been listening to for the last 20+ years went from Rock and roll 101 KLOL to some Mexican crap over night.
They didn't even ask me, The bastards.
Money talks, i guess. If you got money you can buy anything. Now I got to find another station, I guess it could be worse, it could be Rapp.

That has happened here more than a few times.

Very annoying to turn on the radio and get something you don't expect.

We have 101.9 KOOL Radio here in Sacramento for the oldies station, man they don't make songs likes these anymore. To think my parents thought I wann Hold your Hand was bad, wonder what they would think now if they heard some the stuff that is put out today. Too much violence, killing, and sex in the music today.

Get hooked up with Sirius or XM......you can listen to anything you want from 40's through today, news, weather, sports, etc. NO COMMERCIALS. The only AM/FM I listen to is my clock radio that wakes me in the morning. I have Sirius and will never go back to regular radio again. My brother has XM and likes it also. Check them out. I personally recommend Sirius.....the also have all the NFL football games also.

To my knowledge we don?t have a broadcast Hispanic station here, but ha, I would find that highly preferable to the brain rattling hip-hop stuff we do have. With the mountains and all, this is a poor place for AM or FM reception so what I can get is a choice of country western (sometimes) or hip-hop all the time or don?t bother. I usually choose the latter and I?m not sure I remember how to even operate my P/U truck radio. It has a CD player so that?s good enough and to heck with the rest.

Darrel works at Radio Shack which sells Sirius. We have it.

You buy separately the radio with the car docking station, the boom box and/or the home docking station.

Service costs $12.95/month with discounts for a year or more. Choices of music, news, traffic, sports and talk radio.

Best part is NO commercials except for those about other channels. There is some talking by DJs (?) especially on the Elvis Network.

Ok, maybe the best thing is that you never go out of range of your favorite station no matter how far you drive.

We are technology geeks. It is nice to be able to pick and choose what comes into our home. We have sattelite radio, TV and internet.

Ron,

What DJ says. When I got it on my new Dodge Ram, yeah, it's got a Hemi, over a year ago, I took a 6 year plan. Now, they have a plan that is like $300 for the life of the radio. That's the way I would go. Buy the radio with the car docking station and the home docking station, or two home docking stations and you can put one at work. Then just pop out the radio from your car and plug in either at home or work. You'll love it. Mine is built into the car radio so I can't take it out but once your a member you get a code and you can also listen to Sirius on-line. I don't think XM has that. It costs nothing to listen on-line. I do it here at work all the time. Go for it!

Hey Ron,

Ifn you dont have Satelite/Cable, look at the channels on regular TV and bring it up also.

The Mexs even have a clearer reception.

Thank God for Satelite.

BTW, can you pick up 95.3 FM down there? Pretty good Country and Comedy songs.

Good Luck.

enough..............
