The news media is blowing this thing way out. The Stupid girl (32) did her stupid girl thing and a bunch of people jumped to conclusions that cost money.
The mayor wants to take her to civil court to recover 100,000$ . all the people that took off work to walk in fields looking for her are pissed that she is not dead somewhere.
She didn't call 911, she went to New Mexico. The only person to ask her why, would be the boyfriend. The marrage is there business.
Lieing to a police officer in the corse of an investigation is a misstomener unless there was a plan before hand to lie to the cop than its a felony. Charge her or leave her alone there are real criminals out there that need attention.
