The RAF Lakenheath Enlisted and Civilian Spouses Club surprised members and dependents, E-5 and below, on April 4, by paying for their gasoline at the Lakenheath Shoppette. Nearly 25 members benefited from the ECSC giveaway, which came to a grand total of $1,128. One new airman, who recently arrived from technical school, the surprise came at a perfect time. He had just returned from a journey to Heathrow airport, where he picked up wife. The RAF Mildenhall Officers’ and Civilians’ Spouses’ Club provided $30 gas gift cards to airmen and their dependents at the Mildenhall Shoppette on April 4, in their own random acts of kindness event. The MOCSC uses profits from the Trader Winston’s Thrift Shop and the Mayfair Bazaar to perform random acts of kindness for airmen of all ranks. More... |
