Since being around for more than a little while,...I thought that I had pretty-much heard it all, and very little (if anything) would ever surprise me here in: "Weirdsville USA". I was wrong.
In this morning's paper, an article headline: "Gunpowder accident injures Colonia (town next to mine) man" most certainly proved me wrong. Plus, it also had to be the lamest way for any humans celebrating New Years Eve imaginable (naturally sub-human Arab/Islamic fanatics excluded)?
Regardless Friends, and just out of curiosity, please tell me if anyone of you out there has ever heard of anything dummer than someone digging a pit, filling it with gunpowder,...and then quite asininely leaning over the pit while lighting "IT" with a lighter. The Dummy is still alive. But "He" is in bad shape,...with 2nd and 3rd degree burns to the entire upper half of his body.
Still and in fairness, if that doesn't clear the cobwebs from a heavy drinker's head,...what-the-hell will? :cd:

P.S. Friends,
A newspaper titleling such as an: "ACCIDENT", also doesn't portray The HOME NEWS TRIBUNE (printer of this strangest of behaviors) and its editorial staff as: "Rocket Scientists" EITHER. Quite the opposite. Don't you think?
