![]() I went to www.lrrp.com and realized that these were the guys in the firefight in the Renegade Woods on 2 April 1970. We came along the next day and my APC pulled up beside the bodies of the two dead Rangers. I helped move the bodies and police up the ordnance. As it happens, I was contacted by a member of the group that was in the firefight, and he was the first one hit. Our company spent the whole night with all types of H & Is being fired over our heads. There was a lot of contact the next day. The after action report is here :
