Unhappy Vietnam POW quietly dies

Hidden in the obituary section of the daily news Jerry J. Gavin, age 56, a former POW in Vietnam, the paper states, August 1, 2001 passed away at his home. He honorably served his country in the US Air Force. I for one was touched by his passing even though I didn't know him. Just because he was there, in that place, Vietnam, a POW. I felt he deserved more in our paper. His passing bothered me!
