Re-enlisted

Say folks and friends,
I thought I would pass this along to my "Patriot" family since I have talked with my blood family...

Yesterday at 1330 I re-enlisted in the Alabama National Guard. After a 6 year absence I felt that I wasnt doing enough to support my friends who are over in the sandbox.

I leave for Ft. Benning to in-process (paperwork, physical and etc) 22 Mar, and probably soon will be heading to Ft. Sam for a Combat Medic refresher course for two months.

I reup'd with the agreement that my name be in the top ten for volunteer status to head over once the other guys rotate back home. This is something I wanted to do and it's something my wife is supporting me with.

After I return from Benning I will hold a re-enlistment ceremony aboard the USS Alabama (BB-60) with my closest friends and family attending! Wish me luck my friends as I return to the ranks!
