28 Years Straight
The country celebrates it's freedom and independence today and so do I on a more personal level. It's been 28 years in a row now since I last took a drink or any mind altering drug including medication. I only do it to save my own life.

Good for you
Once I tried to figure out how much money I'd spent over my life drinking. I might have been able to buy a pick-up truck. I do respect anyone who sees a problem and does something about it. Happy 4th.

Congratulations. Sincerely! I never drank much, and even less, now, meaning nil. Nor did I ever take mind altering drugs, not even the type you don't inhale. I do, however, smoke other weeds. I'd walk a
 for a camel. I found out in Vietnam that my life wasn't worth the price of rice paddy dung.

I appreciate the support. It's the best thingI ever did for myself, not to mention saving tons of $$$$ over the years. It's not for people who need it, only people who want it.
I also forgot to thank the power that made me do it--my higher power which i call God. Thanks!! Welcome aboard, one six. I was just in Vietnam recently visiting, among other things, the Cu Chi area Glad I wasn't there during the war, it looked like an awful place. The Cambodian border in the central highlands was enough for me. James Happy just to be alive
