Default We are the Patriots....

We are the men and women who have been privileged to protect the heritage of liberty for all people to cherish as their own.

There is no way this Irish girl is going to stand silent before the sacrifice laid down by those Patriots nowserving in Iraq, the wounded, the dying, and 2113 dead while a man or a woman defines their service and sacrifice as stroking the Presidents ego.

It matters not whattheir political views werethese finemen and women suited up and went off to war under the flag ofa country thatwasfounded ona principle of freedomthat says it is theinalienable right of every man, woman and child to live free.

They are the true definition of what a patriot is;a man or woman thatloves their country and respects it's authority and what it stands for.

I appreciate the job of the moderators on this site. Been there done that and turned in my badge. But, there will,I'm sure, come a time when one of them is going to have to throw me off this site for less than poltically correct speech to any man or woman that calls the service of these Patriots any less than what it is. I'm Scot-Irish in heritage and a woman to boot and you just can't make nothin' else out of me.

Salute to the many good men and women that have visited this site and hold toit's motto asquoted at the top of this post and to the truedefinition of what a true Patriot is.

Need to stay until the Iraqi forces can defend and defeat the insurgents on thier own. Ten Marines died today in Falluha (spelling), and a soldier also. Can't let these men die just to pull out because some naysayer hasn't got the stomach for what it takes to win.

I'm gonna add my 2 cents.....and don't give a damn if the thread gets closed or not.

If you look at the picture...Chas.....you might see that "pretty boy" is also a sandwich......incase you don't know what that means, check out his left sleeve and his right sleeve. You've become what you hated years ago. Someone who probably, but then again, maybe not, got upset when some asshole told you about Vietnam, yet was never there. Well, "pretty boy" has been in Iraq at least twice. I would take his opinion of the war over yours or the defeatist in this country any day. Please come to one of my groups of Iraqi veterans who believe in what they did, all Marines, all 03's, and tell those pretty boys your most informed opinion of their and their brothers sacrifice. And, incase you didn't realize it, you DID denegrate this young man's service.

Bless you Sis....et al! And Curtis....thanks for one of Merle's best.

Pack

PS And thank you Bill for letting me see the thread! And Cat...you know how much I love you son, but that one should have been left up. But then again, it's your call and I respect that.

Airborne! Bill.

PSS How many died on Guadalcanal and Tarawa combined? Probably more than 5 or 6 thousand. Sure glad America had a friggin backbone then, cause they'd be beggin' the Japs to surrender today.
