Nooooooo! Theeeeyyy're baaacckk.

Driving test for over 75 years old:

1) Is turning left in a "right hand turn only" lane legal? Yes/No

2) Are turn signals optional? Yes/No

3) Are dark geriatric glasses used for cloudy days? Yes/No

4) Driving at 50 mph on a 70 mph interstate is not a hazard to traffic. Yes/No

5) Signalling 10' before you turn, is more than ample notice for the car following you. Yes/No

6) It is legal to glide through a red light or stop sign. Yes/No

If you answered yes to more than 7 of these questions, you may qualify for a traffic violation in the near future.

I truely have sympathy for you in Fla. i saw it first hand. I began to think, "I hope I don't do that when I get that age."

It's pretty calm here for the most part when it comes to seniors. It's the tourists in Cooperstown that think they own the road. The snooty little league parents that have their nose in the air so far they breathe ozone.

Gimmy a few months, and I'll send the slow ones back to you...

QM Steve,

That's fine.

In a few months it won't matter.

Hot summer days at rush hour is when our road department closes lanes to do road work.

I can only recall I-4 in the city of Orlando at 16:30. Man was the beer cold. I had a boss that I rode from Disney to Orlando with. His phone would ring, I'd shift, he'd steer and drink the beer with the phone to his ear. Never spilled a drop.

It's 55 right now. Rain and t-storms on the way for tonight.

S.O.B.!
Just when you see signs of spring, 60 deegree temps, flowers and buds coming out on trees...BAM! It hits you again! We're expecting another foot+ of snow Sunday into Monday. Talking about wet heavy snow. Trees and power lines down. Oh well, back to plowing and shoveling.

Funny, I was thinking pretty much the same thing. Knew there was a reason I didn't drain and store the snown thrower yet!

It's now a winter storm warning. Up to 16 possible in higher locations. Winds of 20-25mph and gusts over 35. Just another blustery day Pooh Bear.

As I sit here, the first phase of ANOTHER Spring Nor'easter is well established. Looks like we're going to "spring" from winter right into summer...eventually.

The wind chill in memphis a little while ago was 38 degrees. Hard to believe it is really April 15 ( tax day tomorrow ! ). I guess it will be another month before I get serious about planting tomatoes...

We are going fishing at some lakes in Shelby Forest State Park next week. I am sure the fish are real mixed up.
