General Petr Pavel, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee participated in the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Shangri-La Dialogue 15th Asia Security Summit (3-5 June 16) in Singapore along with Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Ambassador Thrasyvoulos Terry Stamatopoulos. The Chairman and the Ambassador took the opportunity to meet with regional Chiefs of Defence and high-level political representatives. Discussions centred on gaining a firsthand insight and greater understanding into the current regional security challenges and exchanging views on global security threats.
