Our Heater Went South - So We Have Not Had Any Heat In The Past 4 Days & We Have Had A Lot Of Rain And Snow For Over A Week Now & Being 82 - I Have Not Been Able To Write Anything. We Live In The San Diego Mountains - Cleveland National Forest East of San Diego.
Hopefully by Tuesday - I Will Be Able To Get Back Up Online. Wish Me Luck. Hardcore

Wow HC thats bad - we had that happen a couple years ago to!
You got a fireplace or wood burner to stay somewhat warm.
- You and Momma will have to share a sleeping bag to stay warm. - It's miserable - any neighbors close-by that have electricity? - We lost ours a few years ago it was terrible. - What did the electric company give you for getting it fixed and how long! - I feel bad for you and Mom - wish I could help. - Got your post does that mean you have some power or no? - I swore last time that happens again - I'd get a generator (still don't - but still thinking about it) - at our age and Kathleen not doing so swell it could be a life saver! - Boats

We stopped using our wood burning stove because we could not afford both wood and propane. My wife wasn't able to get on the roof of our mobile home to clean the screen on our wood stove and our son started university at that time.
We use propane for our wall heater and cooking and the wall heater is over 40 years old and that is why it quit. We have electricity so we have no problem otherwise. Our landlord got us an electric heater so we was able to get warm during the day. We have another rain and snow arriving on Wednesday.

Geez HC sorry to hear about all those issues. I never knew San Diego getting
that kind of weather. Must be rare and/or climate change. We've been lots of rain the last few days - hardly had any snow on the south side of Chicago. - Weather has been strange of late for a lot of folks. My next door neighbor has three storage boxes full of wood. He won't turn the gas on or electricity to save money. - Buddle up for now - has the land lord a generator for you to use? - I regret I live so far from you I'd like to help you out after all I'm younger than you by four years. Can you get local help from the fire department? - Will let you got - I'm worried about you two! - Boats (Wayne)

HC what kind of heat do you have?
Electric Furnace- Natural Gas - or Propane? Did you call your utility folks to let them know? - If your in the mountains - it may be awhile? But do call them and let them know your circumstances. - Wayne (Boats)
