Only “a damn fool” thinks that he (or she) is going to live forever? It is, however, not how long you live that truly matters, but rather (and for the sake of sounding redundant), it is what one does with the (relatively) little time that he has left – that really counts – and that is a fact!

For (as they say) time constantly marches on and no mortal creature is ever guaranteed even their very next breath “Let Alone Eternity!” And eternity itself, is only guaranteed to “God Alone!” And in “The Big Picture (Life Itself)” nothing is ever really promised – save for that which has already passed into the annals of time infinitum – “And So It Is!”

They do say, however, that time is a helluva thing to waste, “And This, I Firmly Believe” and time itself is never open-ended, as your next breath could very well be your last? So using this line of reasoning, I still can’t help but wonder, just how many brilliant ideas, inventions and even thoughts, went unrealized and unfulfilled and this, just because “Some Damn Fool” put off for “tomorrow”, those things that he could just as easily, have accomplished today?”

But most of all, however, I truly pity those poor, and incessant saps, who constantly (and erroneously) put off those critical things that separate humanity from the beasts of “Life’s Own Midway?” For once again, no one is ever promised one damned thing, save for “Oblivion Itself!” And this piece is not an exercise in morbidity, but rather, it is merely a brief glimpse into a future reality that eventually overtakes us all!

“So once again amigos (friends), put your time to good use, while you still have time to spare!” For the past is all well and good for memories and lamentations, but the human race itself can only survive as a direct result of future accomplishments and coming aspirations, along with dreams of far better things that are yet to materialize from deep within one’s own mind’s eye - “And Once Again, SO IT OFTEN IS!!”

HC - I don't know where it all went - but it seems time
is running out - and I'm feeling it!

77 now and I can't begin to tell you where it all went?
-
I've been lucky of late but I'm showing signs of age
- memory issues off and on - and my kids know it.
-
Losing weight - bruise more often than ever/
-
Wife is also feeling more and more worn out and
her tremors are more frequent, and she can't control
them. And her med's mess her mind up so she's reluctant,
to take them.
-
When we were young, we couldn't wait until we
we grew up. Well, here we - are struggling to
maintain sanity - and still keep moving around.
-
Yep, now I know what it's like - and I don't like it.
-
But many I knew are already gone and I'm lost
without them around to shoot the shit. Am I
lucky - maybe in a way - at least I can still take
care of Kath. God help her if I bite the bullet
as both my kids work so it's going to be tough
on her and them keeping track of her.

Boy it sure does!
I can see you take care of yourself and have a
sound mind yet.

Life started out tough for my family too many
divorces and kids - and I we were like peas in a
boxcar - moving from one place to another.

Well now their all gone and may they finally rest -
in peace.

Yea for sure. Where in the hell did all this time
go to!?

Well, I'm not ready yet - but I know I'm working
on it. Let's hold off on the possible - for there still
may be some future left? Not much but we'll see!
