Washington, Jefferson & Lincoln

In my personal opinion, three of the greatest presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln! Not only because of their personal achievements, but also because of the time slot that they occupied within out glorious history!

First of all, ‘Washington’ had the honor of being Our Very First President, and this after being offered the chance of becoming a king!

Secondly – there was Thomas Jefferson, the man who drafted some of the documents, upon which, our great nation still operates!

And thirdly, there was the magnificent Mr. Lincoln, the greatest of all men, who held “Our Nation” together in those times of our greatest tribulations (The Civil War), when “Our Country” was in grave danger of being torn asunder, and when several of the then great world powers were literally licking their chops in anticipation of chewing us up, and thereby plummeting the world back into “The Dark Ages”, and a time in which Democracy and Liberty, could have become nothing more than a defeated dream of a way of life that could have been, but unfortunately, also fell along the waysides of greed and avarice?

The rest is now all part of “Our Magnificent History”, but we have proven through our blood, sweat, tears and toil, that we would not be driven from our righteous course! Many have tried mind you, and this through wars, betrayals, collusion, and even back-stabbing, to take us down, but we are still here, and here, we intend to remain – The Gallant and Glorious Beacon of Light and Liberty! “And so it is, and so, it must forever remain!”
