Cougars
Its 7:00 Pm saturday night and I just came in from riding my Quad up on the Weyerhaeuser property. I was about 3 miles into the woods when I rounded a corner and seen 2 cougars standing in the middle of the road. I meen these were big adult cats, Each one going over 100 lbs. I was able to close the distance to within 50 yards before the spooked and ran off one to each side of the road, Damn Cougar season doen'nt open until August 1st. But I allways mack my .45 when I ride I might have to start Packing a .22 for the cats. It was the first time I ever seen 2 cats togeather pretty cool.

There has been a tremendous increase
There has been a tremendous increase in cougar sitings in Washington since they banned hunting with hounds. Several folks have been severly injured because of the increase. I saw two together two years ago. I had only seen one in the woods before that in all my years of hunting and fishing.
They sure are pretty aren't they. Keith
