Yesterday 9-11
In between filling water troughs for some visiting horses, getting doors opened by fellow church members for hurricane refugees, and helping to deliver a neighbor's puppies, I thought about the events of 7 years ago. Earlier in the morning as is my wont, I paused over my first cup of coffee to give thanks to my God for, along other things, our freedoms, our leaders, and our warriors. For 7 great years, we have been free of attacks by IslamoFacists or other lunatics, and this blessing is the result of the hard work by many people. To all of them, and particularly to President George W. Bush, thank you for your work.

It was said at the time that we could expect to be attacked here once a year.
A lot of really great people worked hard at things we know nothing about and prevented all these threats from resulting in more damage. To all those here and those who volunteered to take the fight to them, thank you. Darrel & Joy

Nevermind, I will. He was in Bathe, Maine as part of a crew of a ship under construction. He wanted to be in the fight to fight back but as soon as the ship was commissioned and breakdown started, he was scheduled for shore duty. Three years of shore duty while his friends were in the fight did not make him happy. As soon as he got back to sea duty, he flew to his ship in the Persian Gulf.
