I would hope you know that I mean no one any ill tidings, and as I've said before, WE ALL disagree here on a wide varity of subjects, BUT that doesn't mean that side by side, WE ALL put differences aside, drink a bunch of beers, and shake hands, and move forward,... ..."For what it's worth",... ...

I could set my differences aside too. I won't say anything about Ron being a cantankerous grouch when he gets there. I agree that when you put us all side by side, we're standing there because we are ONE. 1 acre or a thousand... it's a get together for those who stood up for their country. I'd welcome you with a handshake, Ron.

I figured someone would jump on this bet. It was a carefully engineered wager, since you seem to try and get the last word in on your opinion posts. I always had to have the last word when I argued with family members. I came to a time in my life when I realized that arguing opinion was a moot point. I do say though, I respect you for your time given to this country. Your recounts of Vietnam, as well as hundreds of others, shed a brighter light on the era I was not able to experience first hand. So, with that being said, and with it being my "pilgrimage" to the mountain, if you get to the mountain, I'll shake your hand.
I better hurry... I won't have time to pack. Any last minute requests from Yankee land? Boogers ARE yellow and green! That's my personal opinion. oops... maybe I haven't reached that time yet.
