I dunno...I think the Bambino is in cahoots with that damn goat.

I REALLY would like to see the Bosox and the Cubs make it to the Series before I die.
If not, I'm gonna try to get the curse lifted when I get to the other side.

I'm with you. I have no interest in watching those Damn Yankees in another World Series. Besides, I don't see how any game can top what we saw between the Red Sox/Yankees and the Cubs/Marlins.

Asa die-hard Yankee fan, I agree 6 trips in 8 years is a bit much. They are either that much better than all the other teams or baseball isn't what it used to be. I will watch it but not like the past few games. It will simply be ant-climactic ( sp ? ).

...a great baseball season fan-wise I think. The playoffs have been some of the best baseball viewing in many years, I think.

This year is the 100th anniversary of the World Series. Does anyone know if any special activities and events are planned for the games?
