First of all, I never sign my name without the middle initial.

Secondly, if and when I use my retired rank and service, it's in the form of

COL US Army (Ret)

Thirdly, I neither know who RIML is nor give a rat's patootie about his opinion, mailing address, or what stage his sexually transmitted disease is in.

And lastly, I don't have a travel agent's license, therefore cannot send people on guilt trips - they usually take them by themselves.

Pardon the attempt at logic, but I would have thought the admonition coming from David referred to foul language, but then again, I could have been wrong. Isn't it amazing how one can call for less namecalling while simultaneously calling names?

This thread started out totally non-political, but very timely and newsworthy as it related to a deceased Marine and his family. It became political when James made his comment. I prefer to keep it an a non-political issue, one of how an insensitive boor insulted a military family. Anybody got a problem with that?
