Default Chas...

Thank you very much for pretty-much proving point that no matter what I say (or what anyone else says for that matter) about The ACLU,...NOTHING will ever change any mind-sets of staunch ACLU Supporters.

Still, and in fairness to ACLU or AEACLU types, most all of such are more so ONLY into purposefully misinterpreting The U.S. Constitution...for their greatly selective and quite preferential ends. It's usually only America's: "Democrats/Socialists/Leftists posing as Liberals" whom undermine America during wartime,...TO THE ENTIRE WORLD. ACLU certainly can't gain from doing so, and only usually internally undermines America.

Besides Chas, everyone knows (or at least should know) that only America's Leftist Democrats, The French, Germans, Russians and other like-minded UN types politically gain from undermining and demoralizing America's and Allied Troops worldwide,...by inferring or flat-out-calling (as in many cases) Bush: "A LIAR".
ACLU doesn't normally do so, even though at times also quite helpful to them and clique similarly.

Regardless, what do typical Dem: "Bush Bashings" for resolving all problems (even warfare) and/or curing all ailing The World, have to do with all ACLU NONSENSES...anyway?

Also, your: "You obviously and incorrectly think that the ACLU has some power over us when it doesn't" was truly funny,...and no doubt especially nowadays in Las Cruses, New Mexico
Don't you read papers or watch TV, at all?

Neil

Whatever, Chas H.

Lame, childlike or sophomoric insults
can never divert away from either ACLU or
like-minded Democrat/Leftist deceits,
absurdities and nonsenses abounding.

Most others here are just too sharp for such.
Comprende?

Actually I don't Neil. You're not very "comprende"able.
I looked at the Las Cruces newspaper article and found no mention of the ACLU. The plaintiffs in the case were residents. Perhaps you can cite a source for your Las Cruces (the correct spelling by the way) vs the ACLU tirade.

Your type always understand full-well.
Just pretend not understanding, when not
to your and clique's liking or making
your clique look bad.

Regardless, thanks for the spelling of
Las Cruces correction. Corrected mine.
Now you can also correct yours on a
previous response.

Neil

P.S. Yeah, sure.
ACLU has absolutely nothing to do with
and/or washes its hands of anything
having to do with the removing The Crosses
from Las Cruces?
Get Real. Such nonsense is tailor-made for ACLU.
Plus, ACLU has nothing more important to work on,...anyway.

...if you so decide to align yourself with the AlCU, so be it, but Neil has been here a long time, and his postings usually run concurrent with the feelings of the 'Average American" for the betterment of the "Average American", and your "SPEWING" about President Bush, and the fight against "TERRORISM" don't hold too much stock with me,...

...We were not mislead, the "intelligence" that he saw, ALONG WITH WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAW, else was shrouded by "sadumb's" crazed media outlets, etc, the phuker deserved to go down, and oh well, it was better for the world, so be it, now we'll clean up the bits, and pieces of that mess, and the world will be a better place down the line,...

...go tell it to Hillary, she listen,...

Well since Neil couldn't come up with a site for the ACLU taking the crosses off the town seal of Las Cruces maybe you can.
I think you're in a poor position to claim what anyone, other than yourself, saw as far as intelligence in Iraq goes. Bush was repeatedly warned by the CIA that that the intelligence reports about Iraq were not to be trusted. Bush ignored those warnings.
I see Hillary is your Senator; she's not mine.

This got my curiosity up so I did a search. It was hard to find so it is not that flaming an issue there except the city government has vowed to defend their logo on historical grounds. Of the two guys doing the suit, one of them doesn't even live in the town. Las Cruces was founded near a pass into Mexico which had a bunch of cross shaped tombstones. This is where some travelers had been murdered so obviously the name is referring to these tombstones. "In Flanders fields the poppies grow between the crosses, row on row." Here is the site: http://www.freenewmexican.com/news/32902.html

You know, the ACLU was founded supposedly to protect the bill of rights. If that is still the case, why do we need an NRA? I wish we had an ACLU.
