Hey James,

Happy birthday bro! How come it's your birthday and you send
ME a present? I'll be sending your gift to Paco with his xmas gift from me and the wife.

Do you remember any names of guys in the 3rd plt? There's a woman posted on the 327 site who is looking for a witness to the death of David Lee Wilkerson. She's his aunt and is trying to get his silver star upgraded to a MOH.

May you have many more years in this world.

Afraid Ican't help much, I don't remember guys from other platoons much except 4th platoon when we were conbined with them (note to audience: too few men and leaders--you would have thought everybody would have got bumped a rank but if you do, you don't know the 101st. this is whn I became the platoon RTO because the company RTOs were killed in a grenade accident)
Good luck on getting a SS upgraded to MOH 35 years later-- if they couldn't do it for Harry Summers who was a one man Sgt York, I doubt they could do it for an Abu. Then again, I did get the CIB 35 years late so amazing shit can happen

My best good ol buddy from the lrps was in B/1st/327 if you ever need info on it. He looked at our platoon picture an asked if that was a company picture. He has about the same memories of the Song Ve that we do.

Glad you like the shirt Guy, even if it don't fit yet. I'll send you a supplementary magnet for your coolerator
